Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in economics or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

  • A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in economic research and analys is, policy formulation, application of economic principles in development programmes or related area is required. Experience using R for data analys is and statistical work is required. At least five years of experience in data analytics, econometrics and macroeconomic modeling is desirable. At least five years of experience in leading a research or project team is desirable. Experience in macroeconomic modeling, with emp has is on the global economy and on developing countries, is desirable. Experience using Stata and Python for data analys is and statistical work is desirable. Experience using Bloomberg and LSEG terminals is desirable.
