Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in business administration, supply chain management, public administration, law, engineering or related field such as operations management, logistics, industrial engineering is required. A first level university degree with a combination of two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required. - A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in in the development, planning, management and support of international commercial operations, military or field operations is required. Experience in logistics or operations management is required. At least two (2) years of recent experience in a supervisory role in warehousing or supply chain execution within the last five years is required. Experience in deploying data analytics to enhance the effectiveness/efficiency of warehouse operations is desirable.
