Pay:$45,000.00 – $57,875.00 per year

Job description:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to write fluently in an academic or formal register.
  • Fluency with justice oriented terminology and practices.
  • Experience raising funds for a project or program.
  • Commitment to presenting marginalized people with a culturally affirming and asset based lens.
  • At least one year of full time work experience in an office environment.

  • Creating marketing emails.
  • Social media communication
  • Experience using Little Green Light or other donor database
  • Experience using Mailchimp or other similar email marketing

Job Description:

  • Organize 3 key fundraising events per year including logistics, volunteer recruitment, identifying sponsors, publicity.
  • Create and disseminate a monthly newsletter for LEAP supporters.
  • Oversee communications and publicity calendar including social media, email, flyers and mailings.
  • Research and identify grant opportunities and manage grant submission calendar.
  • Create initial grant applications and complete demographic, descriptive and statistical questions as well as proofread final applications.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director to complete and submit applications.
  • Organize submitted proposals as well as statistics and standard question responses.
  • Support Executive Director to create and disseminate program reports, funding requests and giving campaigns.
  • Support Executive Director and other staff with copywriting and copy editing when relevant.
  • Support LEAPs overall programming including providing office coverage twice a week.

In-office 3 days per week (8am-2pm Mon-Thur) to support office coverage. Remaining hours can be completed in-office or remotely
