Job Title: MCM US Coordinator
Compensation:$40,000 annually
Employment Type:Contract – At Will (no benefits)
Work Schedule:Part-Time (approximately 30 hours per week)
Work Location:Remote, with collaboration during East Coast business hours
Travel Requirements:Available for occasional domestic and international travel, including a 1-2 week trip to Malawi, Africa
Experience and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience working in the development department of a nonprofit organization.
- Proficiency in CRM management (specifically Bloomerang) and donor database tools.
- Proven experience in social media content creation and campaign execution.
- Strong communication skills for donor correspondence and relationship management.
- Skilled in event coordination and the creation of marketing materials.
- Familiarity with budgeting and nonprofit accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media and Marketing:
- Develop and execute social media posts and campaigns to enhance MCMs online presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok
- Create marketing materials to support fundraising efforts and organizational awareness including campaign forms/landing pages in Bloomerang CRM/Fundraising.
Donor Relations:
- Facilitate the Orphan Support Program by managing correspondence between donors and the MCM MBwana coordinator in Malawi.
- Handle communications with low to mid-level donors to maintain and nurture relationships.
- Assist in donor outreach, stewardship, and engagement.
Fundraising and Events:
- Support all aspects of fundraising and marketing initiatives, including event coordination.
- Conduct grant searches and maintain records of grant opportunities.
Accounting and Administrative Tasks:
- Manage monthly bank account classifications and support nonprofit accounting activities.
- Prepare and distribute tax mailings for donors.
- Generate and analyze Bloomerang CRM reports to monitor donor trends and manage updates database.
Reporting:
This position reports directly to the MCM US Director and/or Executive Director.
