Unit Summary

The Talent Operations Specialist will be a member of the Operations unit. The Operations unit manages the key components that drive organizational effectiveness, focusing on Global Operations, Human Resources, IT Operations, and Change Management. The Operations unit ensures seamless integration of, and alignment with, the Foundations mission and values. Our unit is responsible for implementing best practices, driving efficiency, and fostering collaboration across the Foundation.

The HR Operations sub-unit manages the operational and administrative aspects of Human Resources. We have two verticals: (1) Total Rewards: focusing on benefits, compensation, and payroll, and (2) Workforce Support: focusing on compliance, systems, and talent.

Job Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Operations, the Talent Operations Specialist will be responsible for administering and optimizing the operational processes related to attracting and onboarding talent. This role ensures that recruiting, preboarding, onboarding, and offboarding activities are executed efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with organizational policies, delivering a seamless and positive experience for candidates and staff.

  • This is a full-time, limited term role. The term will be 12 months. While there is no guarantee, the term may be extended or converted to a permanent role based on organizational needs.
  • This role is based in the U.S. Applicants outside the country will not be considered.
  • The ideal candidate is based in Omaha or the Central Time (CT) Zone.
  • If the candidate is based in Omaha, the role would be hybrid, and the candidate will be expected to come into the Omaha office at least two days per week during new hire weeks.
  • If the finalist is remote, they will be expected to travel to the Omaha office at least twice per month during new hire weeks.
