For The Culture Counseling Services is a small, mission-driven outpatient SUD treatment clinic using evidence-based treatment modalities to serve our client base with cultural competence and humility. We are committed to building stronger communities and empowering individuals to reach their highest potential while focusing on serving people of color in need of SUD services across Washington State.

This position is a hybrid position in which you will work some days in our Tacoma location and some days from home. Job responsibilities include:

  • Running evening IOP / outpatient groups two to three days per week virtually, with groups ending at 9:00pm
  • Completing biopsychosocial assessments in line with ASAM and DOH standards
  • Holding and managing an outpatient SUD caseload, including holding individual counseling sessions, communicating client compliance, and completing paperwork in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Here at For The Culture Counseling Services, company culture is vital to the success of our team. We offer a flexible, supportive, close-knit work environment where professional growth is encouraged and client success is our priority. Our ideal candidate should:

  • Hold an active SUDP / SUDPT license in Washington State (SUDPT clinicians are required to have completed their first 50 hours)
  • Understand the intersection of addiction and race and how the challenges our client population faces require culturally competent care
  • Experience working within the SUD field and working with marginalized groups

If you feel that For The Culture Counseling Services could be a good fit for you, please apply. We look forward to hearing from you and growing together!

Applications must be submitted through the official careers portal. Female candidates and candidates from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
