Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English and Spanish are required. - A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in responsible professional experience with a local, national or private police, security or fire brigade organization is required. With relevant first level university degree or higher, a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with a local, national or private police, security or fire brigade organization. Experience in the use of Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel Access and Powerpoint is required. Prior experience in delivering on the functions of an Assistant Security Officer or equivalent position within any UNSMS organization is desirable. Completion of the UNDSS FSA / LSA Course is desirable.
