Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma is required. Technical or vocational diploma or certificate and/or training in human resources management, business or public administration or related field experience is a requirement. The minimum years of qualifying experience can be reduced to 5 years for those who possess a first level university degree in human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, education or related field

- A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administration or related area is required. The minimum year of experience is reduced to 5 years for candidates who possess a first level university degree in human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, education or related field. Experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Umoja in the UN Secretariat, including training and certification as HR Partner-all and experience and certification as Local Process Expert-Trainer (LPE-T) and Business Expert and Mentor (BEa MS) is required. Experience and training in using Human Resources Talent Management systems (e.g. Inspira) is required. Experience in the preparation of human resources statistical reports, workforce planning and budget preparation, including conducting research and synthesizing information on formal and informal requests is required. At least three (3) years of experience in delivery of Human Resources functions at international level in a volatile, conflict or post conflict environment is desirable. Experience with supervising and guiding a mid-sized or large team is required.
