Result of Service
The expert will be responsible for the following outputs and will provide attendance sheets for all trainings and coaching sessions, and training reports where required delivered under this assignment. Output 1: Training preparation (mid-May)
- Facilitated 1 training sessions during the roll out of Course 1 using the adapted and translated materials, ensuring delivery is interactive, learner-centred and translated to Arabic.
- Provided a mapping and referral pathways of Gender based violence support organizations in Jordan and selected areas where the women entrepreneurs reside (including organization name, contact email, phone number, and a short description of services offered). Output 2: Delivery of Motivation Lab coaching activities (by mid-July 2026)
- Facilitated 2 Motivation Lab group coaching sessions (2 hours each).
- Facilitated 1 Peer Circle accountability session to reinforce workbook completion (finance and digital requirements) and track progress Output 3: Delivery of motivation labs and Training Workshop (by end of September 2026)
- Facilitated 2 Motivation Lab group coaching sessions (2 hours each).
- Delivered a one-day training on soft skills during the roll out of Course 2 (dates to be confirmed by WEIDE).
- Provided attendance sheets for all trainings and coaching sessions, and training reports where required delivered under this assignment. Output 4: Delivery of in-country networking and motivation labs and training (by end of November 2026)
- Facilitated 2 Motivation Lab group coaching sessions (2 hours each).
- Delivered a one-day training on soft skills during the roll out of Course 3 (dates to be confirmed by WEIDE).
- Supported the organization and delivery of 1 in-person networking / connection events combining talks by local role models in collaboration with the partner BSO.
- Delivered a virtual networking session to bring together the women entrepreneurs across the WEIDE countries. Output 5: Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (mid December)
- Completed and submitted a final training report using the ITC SheTrades reporting template, including: o Summary of participant feedback. o Key successes and observed behaviour changes. o Challenges encountered during planning and delivery. o Risks identified and mitigation strategies. o Recommendations and lessons learned.
- Submitted the following supporting documentation along with the report: o Signed attendance sheets for all trainings, coaching sessions, and networking sessions delivered under this assignment. o Completed pre- and post-training assessment forms (as applicable). o Session agendas and finalised training materials (Arabic versions where applicable).
- Final narrative training report. ITCs mission is to enable small business export success in developing and transition- economy countries, by providing, with partners, sustainable and inclusive development solutions to the private sector, trade support institutions (TSIs) and policymakers. About the ITC SheTrades Initiative SheTrades, ITC’s flagship Women and Trade programme, strives to eliminate barriers to women’s trade participation. By engaging governments, the private sector, and entrepreneurs, SheTrades enhances the business capabilities of women, promoting a fairer and more sustainable global economy. The initiative targets all stakeholders in the trade and business ecosystem, offering women entrepreneurs access to essential knowledge, resources, and networks. Furthermore, it supports policymakers in adopting inclusive policies and fosters public and private partnerships to amplify the impact. About WEIDE The Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund, jointly established by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Trade Centre (ITC), aims to connect women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to international trade opportunities through digital technologies. The WEIDE Fund will unlock opportunities in international trade and digital trade for women entrepreneurs in Dominican Republic, Jordan, Nigeria and Mongolia by improving their access to:
- Funds: providing grants and working with financial institutions to close the access to finance gap.
- Skills, knowledge, and competences: providing technical assistance and access to information related to digital skills and export competitiveness.
- Markets: connecting women to digital market platforms.
- Networks and support services: creating more inclusive and effective business ecosystems including leveraging partnerships with private and public sector actors. The Fund consists of three main bodies: a) The Board decides on policy and strategy, approves the annual work plan, and is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Technical Committee. b) The Technical Committee reports to the Board and is responsible for preparing and submitting annual work plans to the Board, approving applications to the Fund, approving the annual report, and appointing dedicated special task forces. c) The Secretariat of the Fund is located at ITC and is bound by the legal and fiduciary rules of ITC Trust Fund which supports the activities of the Fund. The Secretariat is responsible for the overall coordination and day-to-day management of the Fund, and the implementation of the Funds annual work plan. The Secretariat is located within ITC Women, Youth, and Vulnerable Communities (WYVC) Section, in particular ITC SheTrades Initiative. About the SheTrades business oriented soft-skills (BOSS) training program Success in business is not only about technical knowledge. Women-led businesses often face barriers linked to confidence, communication, negotiation, and leadership, which can limit their ability to access and grow in regional and international markets. The SheTrades business oriented soft-skills (BOSS) training programme aims to address these barriers by strengthening key competencies such as assertive communication, negotiation, communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership. The programme includes practical workshops, role plays, and applied tools focusing on planning, pitching, and preparing for negotiations and networking. Coaching sessions will use the GROW model to support women entrepreneurs to set realistic goals, identify options, make decisions, and strengthen follow-through. The module in the training programme, that will be covered is the Communicating About My Business training. The trainings focus areas are business communication skills, assertive communication, pitching, negotiation Under the ITC SheTrades Initiative framework, ITC seeks a home-based consultant in Jordan to deliver these trainings. Responsibilities include preparing outreach materials, supporting mobilization, adapting training content to match the country context and participants needs, and delivering both online and on-site workshops. Please note that ITC intends to contract two (2) trainers under separate contracts to jointly deliver the trainings and coaching activities under this assignment. OBJECTIVES The consultant will support the successful roll-out of the SheTrades BOSS Programme in Jordan by adapting, delivering, and reinforcing capacity-building activities that empower women entrepreneurs on mindset and self-confidence, communicating effectively, goal setting, time management and planning strategically, and strengthening negotiation and pitching skills. The consultants responsibilities will include: A. Participation in WEIDE briefing sessions
