About the Organization
Nuevo Sol SF is a member-led worker center dedicated to economic justice and building political power for domestic workers and day laborers. It is a new formation with a long history. Our Co-Executive Directors bring over 40 combined years of leadership from the San Francisco Day Labor Program and La Colectiva de Mujeres, having served on steering committees of the California Domestic Workers Coalition (CDWC), National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA), and National Day Labor Organizing Network (NDLON)playing pivotal roles in shaping local, state, and national campaigns. Our base is primarily Latinx immigrant workers, with a focus on domestic workers and day laborers who are essential to the region’s economy yet remain among the most vulnerable to wage theft, job instability, and a lack of protections. Through direct services, leadership development, organizing, and advocacy, we ensure that workers survive and thrivedemanding dignified wages, safe workplaces, and systemic change.
Position Summary
The Site Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Nuevo Sol SFs job dispatch program and leads operations and administrative tasks. This position serves as the bridge between workers, employers, and the organizationconnecting members to dignified employment opportunities while maintaining fair and equitable job distribution. The Site Coordinator manages the daily flow of job requests, dispatch systems, and databases, while also supporting with reporting, staff reimbursements, and consultant contracts and payments. The role provides essential administrative and office management support to ensure programs run efficiently and align with Nuevo Sols mission, including managing office volunteers.

Qualifications
Required:
- Commitment to racial, economic, and gender justice and the mission of Nuevo Sol SF to build worker power among immigrant communities
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience working with immigrant, low-wage, or day laborer communities
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) and database management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, community-based environment that involves both office and field responsibilities
- Availability to work on-site in San Francisco from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional flexibility for events or meetings
Preferred but not required:
- Experience managing or supporting workforce development or job dispatch systems
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, reimbursements, and basic financial recordkeeping
- Knowledge of San Franciscos worker rights landscape and community resources
- Experience preparing reports or working with public agency contracts (such as OCEIA)
- Experience with data entry, CRM, or dispatch tracking software
- Prior experience in nonprofit administration, program coordination, or office management
- Personal experience as a domestic worker, day laborer, or in worker-led organizing
