THE POSITION

NALEO Educational Fund, a national nonprofit organization serving the Latino community, seeks a Human Resources Manager to administer various human resources plans and processes for all organization personnel. This will entail managing the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; preparing and maintaining the Employee Manual pursuant to Counsels review, as well as other guides as legally required.The Human Resources Manager also administers the compensation program, aligned closely with market expectations; and monitors the performance evaluation program working with supervisors.

Additionally, the Human Resources Manager interfaces with brokers to perform benefits administration that includes review, selection, and enrollment of healthcare plans, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees directly and through EASE; works with Finance Department for payroll processing and timesheet management; coordinates renewal of all organizational insurance plans with brokers such as Workers Compensation, Directors and Officers, Crime, Cyber, Professional Liability, and General Liability, etc.; conducts recruitment for all full-time, part-time, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations/onboarding; performs employee relations counseling, advises on outplacement counseling, conducts investigations, and conducts exit interviews in the off-boarding process; participates in Boa…
