Position Overview

Replications, Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled Student Support Specialist to provide social-emotional support and targeted interventions that help improve student behavior and attendance. Reporting to the Community School Director, the Specialist will work collaboratively with social workers, counselors, and wellness professionals to ensure cohesive and aligned interventions. This role is ideal for an experienced professional committed to supporting students in grades K5 within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with students and their families
  • Guide students through social and emotional learning activities to foster personal growth
  • Participate in advisory groups, as appropriate, to support student needs
  • Organize and lead student support groups, as appropriate
  • Advocate for students and connect them and their families with essential resources
  • Assist students in developing effective strategies to manage behavior
  • Support students in creating plans to improve attendance and engagement
  • Help students establish and achieve educational and career goals
  • Provide targeted attendance support, including wake-up calls, incentives, and follow-ups
  • Offer constructive, compassionate feedback to encourage student success
  • Celebrate student achievements and milestone
  • Actively seeks opportunities to better support students and their families

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic and passionate about working with students and families
  • Enjoys engaging with children and building positive family partnerships
  • Experienced in implementing age-appropriate and developmentally sound behavior and attendance interventions
  • Skilled in designing and delivering SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) activities and strategies
  • Deeply committed to education, equity, and supporting diverse communities
  • Reflective and thoughtful about learning processes and behavior modification strategies

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • DOE Fingerprinted

  • $25 – $40/hour
