Pioneers Baccalaureate School, located in Nablus, Palestine, is seeking passionate, reflective, and growth-oriented educators to join our team as Primary and Secondary English Teachers. About the Role
Teachers at Pioneers are expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that emphasize 21st century skills
- Implement transparent and effective assessment and grading practices
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students
- Use data to inform instruction and differentiate learning
- Maintain organized records and communicate regularly with families
- Participate in school events, parent conferences, and community initiatives
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, clubs, or student enrichment programs
- Collaborate with colleagues in professional learning communities
We are particularly committed to strengthening instruction through evidence-based practices. Teachers will receive on-the-job training and professional development in areas such as:
- The Science of Reading
- Evidence-based phonics instruction
- Vocabulary acquisition and language development
- Child and adolescent development
- Trauma-informed and culturally responsive teaching practices
- Effective intervention strategies and progress monitoring
- Physical and psychological first aid

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher (required)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Demonstrated professional competencies, including:

- Strong time management and organizational abilities

- Approach challenges with creative problem-solving and resourcefulness
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree related to subjects taught

What We Offer
First-year teachers receive 2300 New Israeli Shekels per month (a livable and competitive starting teacher salary in Nablus), with additional increments for subject matter, experience, and qualifications as determined during the interview process, in addition to a 100 shekel monthly transportation stipend. Shared housing and utilities, airfare and visa costs, and government health insurance are also covered.
