Result of Service
To support the effective delivery of services to Palestine refugees, and with the generous support of the Government of Japan, UNRWA is implementing leadership development programmes across its fields of operation that enhance the leadership capabilities, accountability, and neutrality of senior staff. These programmes are designed to strengthen the Agencys capacity to respond effectively to both protracted and acute emergencies across its fields of operation.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Leadership Project Manager and in close coordination with the Staff Development Coordinator, the Programme Consultant will support the development, implementation and evaluation of leadership initiatives at UNRWA. Key responsibilities will include:
- Support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of interactive learning products, resources and events, including engaging with external vendors as required.
- Support the organization and facilitation of online and in-person learning events including managing timelines, coordinating logistics, communicating with participants, and ensuring timely reporting.
- Monitor and support participants in their learning journey, ensuring a seamless and person-centered experience.
- Undertake data analysis and reporting, including data visualizations.
- Support the collaboration with the Staff Care and Wellbeing division.
- Draft and produce diverse written and audio-visual outputs for the programme, social media and internal platforms.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure all materials meet quality assurance standards and programme requirements.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
Qualifications/special skills
Advanced university degree, preferably in international relations, social studies, adult learning, business administration, management, or a related field. Prior UN, International Organization or Japanese NGO experience; Experience designing and implementing learning programmes;
Languages
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Japanese. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Fee Schedule USD $140 per working day, based upon satisfactory delivery of deliverables.
