Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will lead the Executive Leadership Team and take full accountability for organizational performance strategic, fiscal, programmatic, operational, and cultural. This role demands active, community-centered leadership beyond the walls of the organization and a capacity to represent TLC with cultural humility, connecting with and learning from the experiences of Sonoma Countys diverse youth and families.

The CEO is a recognized voice across the human services landscape in Sonoma County and beyond, forging partnerships, influencing systems, and advocating for youth and families whose voices are too often unheard. You will leverage your community connections and cultivate relationships to unlock resources, drive innovation, influence policies, and position TLC as a trusted, culturally responsive, and forward-thinking leader in the sector.

Internally, you will lead with clarity and conviction, setting high expectations while fostering a culture grounded in transparency, compassion, equity, and trauma-informed practice. You will champion diversity; develop leaders; welcome, value, and integrate staff and community feedback; and steward resources responsibly to ensure the organization remains community-aligned, nimble, compliant, and financially strong in a complex and evolving environment.

This is a role for a decisive, values-driven executive who thrives at the intersection of mission, strategy, equity, and community. The next CEO of TLC will not simply manage an organization; they will shape its legacy.
