Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst will manage IT projects, business systems, onboarding, training, and process refinement. This role involves managing project intake, conducting requirements analysis, administering SaaS systems, and working closely with vendors to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT process optimization, system administration, customer service, and user training. The Business System Analyst will be a champion of Inatai Foundations 50-Year Vision and work with leadership to develop processes that are in alignment with the foundations commitment to racial justice and equity. The Business System Analyst must demonstrate excellent customer service to our internal and external stakeholders.
This position will play a key role in improving operational efficiency across the organization by ensuring IT systems and processes align with strategic goals. This position will facilitate the adoption of and effectiveness of the organizations use of technology to achieve our 50-Year Vision.
This is a full-time, exempt position.Inatai is proud to be a statewide organization, and we know there are talented leaders everywhere in our state. We are prioritizing the following geographies to ensure we are fully living up to our commitments to geographic equity:.
- The Olympic Peninsula, with special attention to Jefferson, Clallam, and Grays Harbor counties
- North Central Washington, with special attention to Douglas, Chelan, Okanogan, and Kittitas counties
- Northeast Washington, with special attention to Pend Oreille, Stevens, Ferry and Lincoln counties
In addition to these regions, we would like to give priority to candidates based in Adams, Asotin, Cowlitz, Lewis, Mason, Skagit, Skamania, and Whitman counties.
We currently have offices in Seattle and Pasco. Team members connected to an office are expected to work in the office. Team members may be permitted with supervisor approval to work remotely up to two days per week. Periodic early morning, evening, and weekend hours will be required, and statewide and regional travel should be expected.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage strategic technology projects across the foundation
- Partner with the IT Director to propose strategic IT work efforts to improve the foundations technology infrastructure
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support foundation objectives
- Work with team members and technology consultants to gather business and system requirements
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, ensuring effective communication and project alignment with foundation needs
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and vendors, ensuring projects are properly resourced and executed
- Support vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using proper verification techniques.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reference and reporting purposes
Provide team member support on technology projects, questions, and issues as needed
- Troubleshoot and help find resolution on issues that arise for team members
- Partner with team members to explore how technology can support their work
- Create and/or lead additional technology-related trainings on an ongoing basis
- Provide training and support for end-users to improve adoption and effective use of IT systems
- Administer and maintain key SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce, MS 365, etc.) ensuring system security, compliance, and user access controls
- Document IT workflows, policies, and procedures for knowledge sharing and standardization
Other Responsibilities
- Help troubleshoot various IT infrastructure issues as they arise
- Contribute ones own ideas, perspectives, and lived experiences to the emerging culture of the foundation
- Assume other responsibilities and explore new opportunities that arise with the evolving needs and aspirations of the foundation
Qualifications
Work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and resourcing IT projects.
