This Remote Position is Only Open to Candidates in the following Texas Counties: Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, and Webb. Academic Req: Required Bachelor or Graduate degree from accredited program/institution in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology or related field of study Work experience: Required Bachelor and Masters Degree graduates require 2 years related experience and/or training, including progressive employment experience working with children and/or young adults with complex trauma histories, and supervisory experience . Preferred Experience working with victims and/or survivors of human trafficking and knowledge in DFPS and Law enforcement designations, definitions, and acronyms . Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables: 1. Collaborating with peers, including across regions to coordinate referrals and documentation for the assigned service population 2. Facilitate regional community meetings, draft county Care Coordination Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and protocols and provide trainings to partner agencies 3. As a CSE-IT Super Trainer, support the Program Director in conducting CSE-IT training sessions for internal staff and external community partners. 4. Supervise, train, and guide staff within the assigned service area to ensure all cases meet quality assurance standardsthis includes accurate client needs assessments, creating and carrying out service plans, and maintaining ongoing contact with clients. Ensure that staff are current on intake procedures and fulfill case assignment and program requirements. 5. In consultation with the Program Director, make critical decisions affecting the safety and permanency of the client, including other household family members, and provide guidance to supervisees 6. Address performance challenges and ensure assigned personnel meet all deadlines and safety requirements for all cases assigned 7. Ensure teams work scheduling meets program expectations and protocol 8. Ensure assigned team remains within travel expenditure, efficiency and safety requirements 9. Provide supportive, accurate, and immediate case guidance for direct reports 10. Attend community meetings and collaborate effectively with community providers, ensuring program relationships are continuously developed and services are not duplicated 11. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions 12. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed 13. Other duties as assigned. Other Responsibilities: 1. Ensure communication up and down the chain is immediate, including all safety concerns and required reporting 2. Serve as a liaison with program resources, service providers, law enforcement, legal and medical professionals, advocacy centers, shelters, and the service population. 3. Frequently traverse from one location to another 4. Meet all deadlines required by program leadership and state and federal partners. 5. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, and community members and always complying with required dress code Requirements: 1. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens and maintain emotional control and professional composure always. 2. Acquire and maintain licenses and certificates required for the position which may include but is not limited to: Trust Based Relationship Intervention (TBRI), CPR, First Aid, CSE-IT Super Trainer Certification, State Driver License, other certifications as applicable 3. Pass a pre-employment screen and random drug screens throughout employment. 4. Participate in all required program trainings. 5. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. 6. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks. 7. Demonstrate the ability to: a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service populations cultural and socio-economic characteristics. b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English; Bilingual ability in Spanish strongly preferred c. Work in a fast-paced environment and always maintain emotional control and professional composure d. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently e. Maintain computer literacy required for the position f. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team g. Supportively, positively, and effectively supervise a team to reach top performance capacity and continued professional growth 8. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Human Trafficking Interdiction policies and procedures.
