About The Position The Research Audiologist will assist in development of research protocols, manage regulatory requirements, collect clinical data, interpret clinical data results, provide reports, manage and organize data. This position will provide medical evaluations, diagnoses and respective treatments to research subject population as per the assigned protocol. This is a full time position that will be required to work on-site in Fayetteville, NC. Background checks will be administered. About The Project Blast Overpressure Longitudinal Exposure Study (BLES) Salary Range $85,000 – $91,000. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidates related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. Qualifications U.S. Citizen, able to pass security/background checks for access to restricted Federal facilities Ph.D. or Au.D. required 3-5 years knowledge and experience with Department of War (DoW) Grants and agreements administration and management, preferred 3-5 years medical research project management experience strongly desired, preferably with Department of War and Special Operations populations Experience with advanced medical technologies, preferred Knowledge of military system, preferred Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor Ability to be flexible with changing priorities and available to interact with employees, clients and sponsors of all levels Ability to exercise independent judgment in fast-paced, high-pressured environment with strict deadlines and to manage multiple projects Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results Computer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office Software Responsibilities Assists in the development of the research protocol(s) as the subject matter expert Reviews research documentation and provides detailed technical written notes Directs and performs recurring analyses on research portfolios to identify critical gaps, exceptional results and/or lack of progress Manages and organizes data and assure that necessary archival procedures have been conducted Interacts with other services and government agencies, organizes and hosts research planning and coordination meetings, and informs the Principal Investigator of developments Maintains open communication with the Principal Investigator, advise of processes, report progress and serve as a point of contact, as applicable Provides guidance to scientists preparing research proposals and abstracts/posters/manuscripts, to include guidance on research protocol development, as needed Performs scientific reviews on research proposals submitted for consideration, as requested Maintains and updates files of all applicable regulatory documentation for IRB (including protocols, approvals, amendments, modifications, etc.) as well as any communications with the sponsor or any other Federal or regulatory office (including prior approvals, change in scope, etc.) As a leader in military medical research, at Geneva, our professionals develop critical solutions and build rewarding careers.
