The Need For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJMs Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking an Asia Pacific Strategy & Operations Intern. The Asia Pacific Strategy & Operations Intern will support the Asia Pacific region, which seeks to protect vulnerable people in poverty from forced scamming, forced labor trafficking, and online sexual exploitation. The Intern will support the multi-faceted Strategy & Operations team supporting the key initiatives of the region and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Tasks may include: Coordinating and supporting events and training; Intranet site management; Compiling reports and data; Project management; Participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support. This position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area. It reports to the Vice President, Strategy & Operations, Asia Pacific. This is a full-time role. The target duration of this internship is 6 months, through August 2026. General Qualifications and Required Skills Bachelor’s degree must be in progress or completed, and applicants need to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study. Interest in IJMs work and desire to support frontline teams engaging in justice system transformation projects. Experience with using Microsoft Suite. Experience with project management and administrative support. Experience in intranet site management and resource development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
