Your opportunity Mission Australia is launching our Safe Homes Initiative – a bold, 10year national initiative transforming the way homelessness is prevented across Australia. We have an opportunity for you to join us as the Manager, National Tenant Outcomes to guide this critical stream of the initiative. Where you will shape the national approach to tenant wellbeing and sustained tenancies, setting direction, strengthening service quality, and ensuring consistent, highimpact practice across states and territories. Working closely with national and local leaders and frontline teams, youll help design, mobilise and refine programs that are traumainformed, clientcentred and grounded in lived experience. This is an opportunity to influence a nationally significant program at scale, lead meaningful change, and contribute to better longterm outcomes for people and communities who need it most. Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide national leadership for Tenant Outcomes programs, setting clear direction, priorities and quality expectations. Translate strategic goals into consistent national approaches that deliver highquality outcomes across all states and territories. Lead the staged rollout of Tenant Outcomes programs, ensuring readiness, service model fidelity and strong local ownership. Embed evidencebased, traumainformed and clientcentred practice to improve tenant experience, wellbeing and longterm housing stability. Partner closely with state and territory leaders to jointly plan, mobilise and deliver programs aligned to national frameworks. Foster a strong learning culture by using data, feedback and lived experience to drive continuous improvement. Oversee monitoring and reporting to provide meaningful insights into program performance, outcomes and impact. Requirements for success Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive seniorlevel experience in housing, homelessness, community services, social policy or program leadership. Proven experience leading complex, multisite or multijurisdictional programs and achieving strong outcomes without direct line management authority. Demonstrated ability to embed evidencebased, clientcentred and traumainformed service models at scale. Strong capability in outcomes measurement, monitoring, evaluation and using evidence to drive continuous improvement. Willingness and ability to travel across states and to various Mission Australia service locations will be required to support effective national implementation and collaboration. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build trust across diverse teams and environments. Highly developed communication, facilitation and change leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly. Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage risks, set direction and support teams through largescale reform. Personal alignment with Mission Australias values, commitment to social impact, and willingness to travel to support state and territory teams.
