As a Housing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tenancy and property management services across our housing programs. Youll manage tenancies end-to-end, maintain accurate and compliant records, and work closely with tenants to support sustainable, long-term housing outcomes. You will also build meaningful partnerships with tenants, service providers, and internal teams to deliver holistic, client-centred solutions. Key Responsibilities Conducting all the arrangements to lease vacant properties quickly and effectively Work with tenants to assist and support them in maintaining their tenancies Carry out property inspections as required and completing required property reports Attend court/tribunal hearings where necessary to represent the interest of the organisation Ensure tenancy and property records are kept up to date and information recorded meets the organisations and Regulatory standards Maintain a strong KPI focus across a variety of performance areas Maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support Requirements for Success Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups Community housing experience or property management experience desirable Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and NCAT process would be preferred Strong experience with Microsoft Office products for reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Driving Licence Working with Children Check Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
