Brooksfield School is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Montessori Assistant Teacher. We are located in McLean, VA. The children spend their days enjoying nature, gardening, art, Spanish, music and orienteering. We are looking for a special person to join our faculty. Applicant must have prior experience in a classroom or childcare setting (preferably Montessori), has or is working towards their Montessori credential, or has a degree in Education or related field. There are openings in our toddler and primary programs.

Monday-Friday, 10:45 PM-5:45 PM OR 2:30PM- 5:45PM

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Keeping classroom neat and tidy
• Assisting Head Teacher/Extended Day Director in the classroom
• Weekly meetings with Head Teacher/Extended Day Director
• Assisting with lunch, nap, and snack
• Supervising playground play
