POSITION OVERVIEW: Provides billing and clerical support to JFK’s Crisis & Residential programs. The duties include:

  • Daily billing of Veoci reports into CareLogic. Audit inputs for accuracy, reconcile and correct claims. Liaison with billing department as needed to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Set-up and maintain client electronic health record(s), upload documents as necessary; enter/retrieve information for clients and/or clinicians.
  • Assist crisis team with follow-up phone calls, as needed. Interact with other JFK departments to ensure continuity of care when necessary.
  • Routine use of email, software and/or business applications to facilitate MET’s daily activities
  • All clerical functions within the unit, i.e. typing, copying, filing, mail distribution, etc.
  • Maintain the office supply, anticipate needs and replenish items such as copy paper, forms, toner, stationary, etc.
  • Prepare staff payroll summary for management approval

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2- years performing billing/invoicing work, or doing similar work while-serving as a receptionist in an office setting
  • Agility in using standard computer programs (MS Office, Outlook) and multi-line phone systems
  • Intermediate grasp of the rules of writing & grammar
  • Experience in the healthcare or behavioral health industries preferred.
