The Governor’s Institutes of Vermont is seeking energetic and empatheticResident Assistants (RAs). The RAs help to create a vibrant, supportive, and compelling environment for students. As a Resident Assistant, you’ll be part of the team of on-site staff members ensuring the well-being and safety of the students during our intensive summer Institutes. You’ll be an integral part of a close-knit community, fostering a supportive and healthy environment where young people can flourish.

Resident Advisors (RAs) serve as mentors, community builders, and role models for students during the Institute.Living on campus throughout the program, RAs foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging residential environment that supports students personal and social growth. They lead group check-ins, organize activities, encourage peer connection, and uphold Institute policies to ensure a positive living and learning experience. This is a live-in leadership role requiring enthusiasm, responsibility, and collaboration to help deliver a holistic and memorable Institute experience for all participants.
