Job Title: Intake/Enrollment Coordinator

SUMMARY

The Academy at Bradenton is seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to serve as ourIntake/EnrollmentCoordinator.This role will assume the responsibility of enrolling members (adults living with mental illnesses) while serving as a supportive resource to families (grandparents, parents, siblings or adult children of our Academy members). We are seeking a high-energy candidate who thrives on teamwork and service to others.

EMPLOYMENT OVERVIEW

TheIntake/EnrollmentCoordinatorwill work on-site at Academy at Bradenton, with a Monday-Friday, 9am 5pm work schedule. Prior experience working with persons with mental illness or other disabilities is preferred, although not required.

TheIntake/EnrollmentCoordinatorrole is a full-time position whose primary duties include:

  • Manage applicant intake and enrollment
  • Establish and cultivate supportive relationships with Academy families during the enrollment and rehabilitation process.
  • Assist families with linkage to community-based services, as needed.
  • Implement and monitor development of Blueprint of Self-Support (BOSS) plans for Academy members.
  • Role model professional workplace behaviors, attitudes and relationships.
  • Assume additional responsibilities, as assigned.

Membership at the Academy provides access to both Sarasota and Bradenton facilities, and features a range of self-directed opportunities based on the 8 Dimensions of Wellness (intellectual, physical, financial, social, emotional, vocational, environmental, and spiritual).

OVERVIEW OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Minimum of five years of professional experience in human services, counseling or a related field.
  • Education preferred: Bachelors degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Language: bilingual English-Spanish a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptability
  • Be a non-smoker both on and off site
  • Willingness to submit to alcohol and drug screen upon hiring, and random drug testing while employed
  • Subject to State of Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and local law enforcement checks
  • Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License, subject to a DMV records check and approval by Academy at Glengary, Inc., insurance carrier
  • Possess a privately owned vehicle and be willing to transport Academy member(s).

Starting salary range is $50 – 60,000/year
