Community Servings is a non-profit food and nutrition program focused on the nutritional needs of underserved populations across the state. Over the past 36 years, we have delivered over 15 million free, scratch-made meals to individuals experiencing chronic and critical illnesses in the context of medical nutrition therapy.
The Voucher Program Client Services Coordinator is part of a growing team who is responsible for processing intakes for both philanthropic and healthcare contract clients including, but not limited to, monitoring client records, maintaining the client database, daily communication with the delivery team, and working with other departments to ensure that client meal issues or concerns are addressed in a timely manner. This position will primarily support a new food voucher program, but will work closely with the rest of the client services team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes all client and referral inquiries and responds daily to all client phone calls related to our food voucher program and our medically tailored meals program as needed
- Manages voucher program client enrollment and usage, including outreach to clients and reporting
- Helps develop and update program materials for the medically tailored food voucher program
- Develops and maintains relationships with referral agencies and community organizations
- Maintains effective communication between the Nutrition, Kitchen and Delivery teams
- Other duties may be assigned which support our medically tailored meals program, including processing incoming paperwork for client intakes and maintaining the client database daily
Qualifications/Experience:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual speaking ability is a plus
- Demonstrated telephone, verbal and written skills
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using Salesforce software a plus
Education:
- High school diploma and 2 years of experience in direct customer service
