The Global Analyst team is responsible for analyzing fundraising activities, setting targets, and reporting on the performance of the fundraising network. As a member of the Global Analyst Team, the incumbent will support the expansion of analysis and insight capabilities. 2. Purpose and Scope of Assignment The Associate PSP Officer (AI Developer) will play a pivotal role in enhancing the analytical capabilities of the Global Analyst Team within the Private Sector Partnerships Service (PSP). This position is dedicated to developing and implementing AI-driven solutions to optimize fundraising strategies, improve datadriven decision-making, and support the overall mission of UNHCR in protecting and assisting refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless individuals. Under the overall supervision of the PSP Business Analyst Officer and the Assistant PSP Officer, the incumbent will assist in the following:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models to analyze fundraising data and predict trends.
  • Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fundraising activities.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and utilize AI tools to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Provide detailed reports and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor and refine AI models to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work closely with the Global Analyst Team to understand their analytical needs and challenges.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on AI tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other PSP teams to align AI initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve fundraising efficiency and effectiveness. 3. Qualifications and Experience A. Education The ideal candidate holds a Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, business administration, or other relevant fields. B. Work Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience (2 years for holders of a masters degree).
  • Experience utilizing cloud-based AI/ML services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Vertex AI) and related tools for model development, training, and deployment.
  • Experience building and deploying AI applications, including integrating ML models into larger systems and working with APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Azure or GCP cloud services, including experience deploying and managing ML infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration. Proficiency in scripting and automation is required. C. Key Competencies 1. Essential Technical and Cross-Functional competencies
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Hands-on experience with either Azure (Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Data Factory) or GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud AI Platform, Dataflow).
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing services (e.g., Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
  • Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
  • Experience with containerization technologies is a plus. 2. Others

The successful candidate will be home-based, and work with colleagues globally. This vacancy is open for applicants residing in Denmark as well as for those residents of other countries. The remuneration level and the applicable entitlements and benefits may be different based on the residence of the most suitable selected candidate. This position is initially up to the end of the year with possibility of extension subject to budget availability and overall performance of the incumbent. It is a full-time role starting from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
