Employee Contract Type: Local – Temporary Job Description: Position Purpose: The Project Lead Protection of World Vision Bangladesh Rohingya Crisis Response (WV BRCR) holds overall responsibility for project management, ensuring effective coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Child Protection and GBV programming across Rohingya camps and host community locations. This role provides strategic leadership to guarantee that interventions are delivered on time, adhere to technical standards, and align with organizational and donor requirements. Key Programming Areas will be i) Case Management and Referrals; ii) Community-based Protection Committee; iii) Child Protection and GBV monitoring, iv. PSS; v. Positive Parenting, awareness raising. In addition, the primary objective of the Project Lead Protection will work closely with the Child Protection and Case Management Specialist and the GBV Coordinator. The Project Lead will ensure the timely and effective delivery of all project activities, uphold compliance with technical standards and best practices, support the integration and mainstreaming of protection issues across other program sectors, and strengthen coordination mechanisms to enhance service quality and accountability. Expected End Results: Project Implementation & Management: Design trainings and provide opportunities for capacity building to all the CP and GBV team in case management process and general protection interventions, among others. Conduct regular supervision meetings with caseworkers to ensure the effectiveness of the case management process. Conduct regular case file audits to ensure that they are up to date and check the quality and consistency of work. Review the follow-up of CP & CM and ensure all reporting is managed within acceptable timelines Work in close collaboration with the community systems to strengthen the relationship with the community in line with the referral system Work with the CP & GBV team to ensure close links between case management and WVIs work with community-based protection mechanisms, CFSs, and learning centers, among others Ensure internal and external referral mechanisms (with other sectors) are in place, and cases are appropriately managed and followed up when referred Ensure safeguarding compliance (this includes visitors and media protocols, partnering with communities and other agencies or CBOs, and children’s participation) with World Visions policies, CPSS, and GBSS standards and guidelines. Take lead in camp-level implementation of CP & GBV program interventions, manage and support the project implementation team, including coaching with clear standards of accountability Ensure field-level coordination with other sectors such as education, site management, and Camp coordination Collaborate with teams to generate activity concept notes and review financial reports to maintain accurate spending reports and up-to-date budgets. Quality CP Program implementation and sustainability: Generate and maintain the CP & CM with project implementation plans Ensure all CP & GBV project activities and installations refer to CPMS, CPSS guidelines and checklist, government standards, and are aligned with internal and external Strategic Objectives Ensure community-level participation for men, women, boys, and girls, taking into account local needs Follow up with Camp level accountability staff to respond to feedback from areas of implementation to strengthen case management implementation Coordinate and support the establishment of the CP & CM database to contribute to the indicator reporting Develop CP & CM activities that mainstream child safeguarding while working with other sectors. Facilitate the donors field visit to ensure proper communication and relationships between World Vision and communities. Participate and review project evaluations in close coordination with the internal and/or external evaluator. Partnership, Networking & Advocacy: Ensure collaborative planning through the camp-level sector coordination meetings while working closely with CP focal points. Ensure World Vision is appropriately represented during CiC meetings, CP focal point meetings, case conferencing, DSS camp level meetings, among others. Represent World Vision during field-level donor and Government visits. Link case workers with service providers and support effective collaboration Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders, and families Documentation, Project monitoring, and evaluation: Compile quantitative and qualitative reports while updating the Case management database. Facilitated allocated projects information and documentation processes, and ensured effective communication of the project results. Ensure WV participation in assessments in close coordination with the projects teams to feed into the design team during the drafting of the new proposals, making sure it matches the program objectives and donors’ requirements. Work closely with the team to generate proposals and reports Ensure that files, registers, and computer databases are used appropriately and correctly, and ensure that case workers adhere to proper documentation and data protection protocols. Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience: The applicants should hold a university degree in Social Sciences, education, or international law. A master’s degree is desirable. A minimum of 4 -5-year experience in Project Management in emergency response, especially in CP & GBV. Proficient English communication skills (both oral and written) Advance knowledge of CPMS, CPIMS+, GBVMIS, 5W report, and NGO Code of Conduct Strong interpersonal relationship and team-building background Excellent analytical, documentation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Possess the ability to work with different partners, local authorities, local organizations, and NGOs, to develop and maintain positive collaboration and relationships. Other Competencies/Attributes: Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment Familiar with CFSs, Case management, peace building, community engagement, and adolescent engagement Appropriate communication skill and approachable Must have no history of violation of children’s rights Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity, and physical stamina Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment Experience: Working with computer data and data management Past exposure to working in CP coordination or case management Awareness of childrens rights Experience working in a team and collaborating with partners Work Environment: Must be willing and able to travel in camp/host locations in Coxs Bazar/Ukhia/Taknaf Project locations are in remote areas in refugee camp. Staff is expected to live in his/her based location. Salary: Negotiable Availability: Candidates with immediate joining availability will be given preference.
