The Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) seeks a creative and motivatedPart-Time Content Producerto support our social media presence, executive messaging, and video needs. This remote, paid position (15-25 hours/week) is well-suited to a highly-qualified recent graduate with experience in graphic design, video editing, and copy-writing who is passionate about conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and the Israeli-Palestinian space.
The Content Producer will collaborate closely with ALLMEPs senior leadership and communications team to develop compelling visual and multimedia content that advances our goals, amplifies our organizational voice, and deepens engagement across digital platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Content Creation- 60%
- Create engaging graphics and social media content for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
- Video editing, scriptwriting, and producing visual assets for ALLMEPs core platforms.
- Adapt long-form content (reports, op-eds, events) into compelling, platform-optimized social posts.
- Maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all digital channels.
Executive Communications – 30%
- Video editing, scriptwriting, and visual asset production for executive team social media pages.
- Supporting the executive team with polished visual content for high-stakes events.
- Creating/editing short-form video content for fundraising appeals, event recaps, and impact storytelling.
- Adapting content across platforms (e.g., op-ed to socials, Instagram to LinkedIn, etc.).
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on executive team social media metrics and performance.
Collaboration & Coordination – 10%
- Meeting regularly with the ALLMEP team via Zoom to align on priorities, deadlines, and content calendars (approximately 12 hours/week).
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work across digital platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio of work across digital platforms.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and/or Canva, as well as CapCut / Adobe Premiere / Descript or similar.
- Video editing experience, including short-form content for social media.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for visual storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work 1525 hours per week, aligned with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
- Interest in Israeli-Palestinian peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and international affairs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA Degree.
- Background or degree in graphic design, communications, journalism, film/media production, political science, public policy, or a related field.
- Experience producing content for nonprofits, advocacy organizations, or political campaigns.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, regional history, and conflict resolution frameworks.
- Experience working with or producing content for executive-level stakeholders.
