Position Overview

Baby2Baby is actively searching for a mission-driven, detail-oriented Director, Corporate Partnerships to join the team. This full-time role leads the Corporate Partnerships team and reports to the CMO. They are responsible for leading corporate engagement strategy and revenue generation, overseeing relationships with a portfolio of national corporate partners. The Director, Corporate Partnerships will own multimillion-dollar revenue targets across both cash and in-kind sponsors. This position plays a critical role in advancing Baby2Babys mission to provide children in need across the country with diapers, clothing and the basic essentials they deserve.

The Director, Corporate Partnerships will work Monday-Friday at 5830 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016. The work is performed in an office setting and is currently on site 3 5 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, solicits, and secures corporate partnerships, including cause marketing campaigns, sponsorships, employee engagement programs, and foundation grants.
  • Develops and executes strategic corporate partnerships that leverage Baby2Babys celebrity ambassadors.
  • Leads creation of annual corporate fundraising strategy and growth projections in partnership with the CMO and Finance team. Oversees Corporate Partnerships team to maintain corporate revenue tracking documents.
  • Collaborates with Events, Community, Program, Marketing and Social teams to execute partnership activations and ensure seamless delivery. Also works closely with external partners to bring sponsorships to fruition (PR Agencies, talent reps.).
  • Leads sponsorship contract negotiation with corporate partners, detailing customized sponsorship packages ranging from $50k-$25MM+, in-kind donation information and sponsorship deliverables.
  • Serves as a primary relationship lead for corporate sponsors, ensuring contractual obligations and sponsor benefits are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Joins high-level partnership meetings and calls and elevates updates to Baby2Baby leadership. Oversees Corporate team to drafts follow-up materials.
  • Responsible for pitching and securing financial and in-kind sponsors for the annual Baby2Baby Gala, with support from Corporate Partnerships team to execute all sponsorship deliverables.
  • Works collaboratively with the Marketing team to create and review informational materials.
  • Provides oversight to the Corporate Partnerships team, ensuring seamless coordination of in-kind donations with sponsors and Baby2Babys Warehouse and Program teams.
  • On-site involvement at Baby2Baby events, distributions, sponsorship activations, corporate donation deliveries across Los Angeles, etc. Some events may occur on the weekend.
  • Represent Baby2Baby at corporate meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, etc.
  • Minimum 10 years prior fundraising, event, marketing and/or public relations experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills, time management, and a self-starter mentality.
  • Strong writer and communicator; ability to draft clear and concise correspondence.
  • Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong client and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Valid Drivers License and the ability to run errands using the Baby2Baby vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in corporate partnerships, sponsorships, public relations, fundraising, or cause marketing.
  • Experience writing compelling outreach emails and establishing relationships with prospective brand partners.
  • Experience developing and executing revenue-generating strategies or partnership campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfort interfacing with senior-level corporate partners and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience managing a team.
