Job Summary

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in Versailles, France, is seeking a highly organized and diplomatic Operations Department Administrative Assistant (NATO Grade 10/B4). This role is crucial for providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within the Operations Department. Key responsibilities include managing office administration, meticulously organizing formal committees, meetings, and social events, handling communications effectively, and ensuring all interactions are conducted with utmost diplomacy and discretion. The ideal candidate will possess complete secondary education or equivalent, coupled with three to five years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar international organization.

Eligibility: NATO Civilian Staff and external candidates who are nationals of a NATO member country.

Basic Monthly Salary: EUR 5,241.20 (tax-free, subject to Article 19 of the Ottawa agreement on exemption of Taxation).

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Complete secondary education, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
  • Personal suitability and the relevant experience normally acquired as a Senior Administrative Assistant after three to five years in the Agency or in a similar organisation.
  • Well-developed communication skills (oral and written).
  • Experience in the organisation of formal committees, meetings and hosted social events.
  • Experience in office administration.
  • Sense of diplomacy when dealing with persons inside and outside the Agency at all levels and of different nationalities.
  • Absolute discretion and good judgment are required.
