Job Summary

This role leads the 'Type 1' market analysis function within NRC’s Supply Chain. The Global Project Manager will manage a key ECHO-funded project and drive the integration of market-based programming and cash and voucher assistance (CVA) to enhance the quality and accountability of humanitarian aid. The position is central to shaping policy, strategy, and promoting organisational learning in market analysis for humanitarian interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a 23-month ECHO-funded project, "Transforming Humanitarian Supply Chain – Market Analysis," including progress, budgets, and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and strategies for Type 1 market analysis.
• Provide technical support and capacity building to regional and country offices on market analysis.
• Lead the development and revision of tools and methodologies related to market analysis.
• Compile and disseminate learning and best practices from evaluations and organisational pilots.
• Network with and represent NRC at a strategic level in global policy debates related to market analysis and supply chain planning.
• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders (donors, UN agencies, NGOs, etc.).

Required Competencies:

• MA level degree or equivalent in International Development, Humanitarian Action, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant humanitarian/development experience.
• Proven track record in full-cycle project management (development, implementation, reporting).
• Experience in developing organisational tools and driving value for money.
• Demonstrated ability in strategy development, academic research, and organisational representation.
• Advanced people management, communication skills, and fluency in English.
• Experience with PROSCI Change Management is an asset.
