Job Summary
This consultancy provides an opportunity to contribute specialized expertise to United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction's mission in international cooperation and sustainable development. Working in Egypt, you will apply your professional skills to address complex challenges in international cooperation and sustainable development and support the organization's programmatic objectives. This role offers the flexibility of consultancy work while contributing to meaningful international development outcomes with global impact.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in economics, social sciences, statistics, disaster management or any other related field is required.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in research and analysis in disaster risk reduction or any other related area is required;
- Experience in information management or statistics is required,
- Experience in data conversion, management of quantitative and qualitative data systems, integration and projection, mapping/GIS software is desirable;
Skills
