Job Summary
This consultancy provides an opportunity to contribute specialized expertise to United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)'s mission in environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development. Working in Switzerland, you will apply your professional skills to address complex challenges in environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development and support the organization's programmatic objectives. This role offers the flexibility of consultancy work while contributing to meaningful international development outcomes with global impact.
Requirements
- The videos should be SPLIT TRACK AUDIO (natural sound on one track, voice, and music, of any, on the other track) should be submitted.
- Compression H.264/MPEG4 or better video at 12000 kbps (minimum) or high-definition broadcast quality.
- Briefing and detailed explanation of the kind of footage and videos needed and help in defining the best contents of the shots;
- Programme information and editorial guidance to the Consultant to enable him/her to understand the deliverables required, including the necessary subtitles/content in videos;
- Links to the relevant BRS webpages and other relevant documents on the work of the BRS Secretariat The Consultant will:
- Supply all videographic equipment necessary for the assigned coverage, as determined in consultation with the Supervisor (e.g. professional digital video camera), lenses and accessories.
- Pass the exclusive ownership of all material to the BRS Secretariat, including all use and distribution rights connected to them.
- BRS Secretariat reserves all rights to the unedited photos and videos. The consultant must deliver all unedited photographs and videos on a hard drive at the end of the assignment period.
Skills
- Demonstratable portfolio of videos edited from B-roll footage is required;
- Experience capturing images and developing videos for development organizations e.g. NGO, UN Agencies, etc., is desirable;
- Experience capturing developing celebratory success story videos for development organizations is desirable;
