Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of technical specifications for engineering projects related to A/C installation.
- Collaborate with the preparation and review of installation plans and technical designs.
- Calculate bill of quantities and prepare Scope of Requirements, including the development and review of AutoCAD drawings.
- Support the management and supervision of contractors and suppliers involved in the installation process.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School degree or equivalent diploma is required
- level education in engineering, electromechanics, or a related field, with a valid diploma or academic certificate as proof.
- Languages: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in Spanish is required and knowledge of English is desirable. Knowledge of English is desirable. NOTE: "fluency equals a rating of "fluent" in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand) and "Knowledge of" equals a rating of "confident" in two of the four areas.
