Its mission is to help Palestine refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank and the Gaza Strip to achieve their full potential in human development, pending a just solution to their plight. Supervisor: The incumbent is reporting to the Deputy Chief Field Education Programme/ Admin.
Responsibilities
In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures the incumbent: 1. Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress in coordination with relevant staff in the Education Programme. 2. Coordinates with the respective stakeholders inside and outside the Agency (i.e., consultants, vendors, government counterparts, community leaders) with respect to resource availability and allocation to ensure the continuity in execution of the project activities; 3. Ensures that project activities are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget; 4. Establishes work plan for each phase of the project and arranges for assignment of project personnel where requested; confers with project staff to outline the work plan; 5. Prepares regular consolidated progress reports (narrative and financial) and ad-hoc reports as requested including for donors. 6. Establish and successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders including Donor Relations Unit, Human Resources, Projects and Finance. 7. Perform risk management to minimize project risks; creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation and ensures lessons learned are captured and documented. 8. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

Type of Contract: Limited Duration Contract (LDC), Band E. The Limited Duration Contract applies to external candidates and UNRWA internal candidates on LDC. Duration of Contract: Until 31/12/2026- with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing need. Grade & Salary: LDC- Band E monthly basic salary ranges JOD (1,025.30) Other Benefits: Other benefits include compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave pro-rated to the duration of the contract where less than one year, and family allowance (if applicable).
