Director of Clinical Services

As a Director of Clinical Services at our Cambridge , youll have a strong track record in leading and developing nursing practice. As well as a thorough understanding of evidence-based practice and the health care regulatory agenda, youre able to stabilise and re-engage teams, driving the standards of care.
As a Director of Clinical Services (Matron), you will:
Quickly understand the clinical challenges facing our hospital and build excellent relationships with internal customers and external bodies
Ensure that we provide safe and effective care through a range of surgical and medical interventions
Deliver effective operational management and inspirational leadership
Be a role model for excellent clinical governance, providing strategy and direction for our hospital
Champion improvements to clinical standards, care and service across wards, theatres, outpatients, pharmacy, radiology, imaging, cardiology and pathology
Always be approachable and accessible to patients, relatives and colleagues
