Position Overview

The Education Outreach Director (EOD) is responsible for spearheading all of Seedleafs youth educational programming. This includes the Bluegrass Urban Farm Friends (BUFF) programming for middle and high school students in collaboration with Seedleafs community partners; K-12 classroom engagements in public and private school settings, and basic gardening workshops for adults. The EOD will also be in charge of coordinating Seedleafs garden club time at local elementary schools and after-school programs. In addition to educational youth programming, the EOD will work with private and public school institutions in Fayette County to help develop and/or maintain school gardens.
