Bronx GEAR UP INSPIRES (Impactful New Strategies for Persistence, Improvement, Resilience, and Engagement for Students) is a brand-new seven-year initiative helping students build confidence and plan for the work force or college.

Youll be the mentor teens trust as they take on big decisions about their future. Workshops, college trips, one-on-one coachingyour days will be full, dynamic, and rewarding.

Youll Get To

• • Coach students in large and small groups
  • Lead workshops on study skills, goal-setting & college readiness
  • Support after-school/Saturday/summer programs
  • Take students on college and career exploration trips
  • Build relationships with families and school staff

What You Bring

• • A minimum of three years of relevant experience mentoring, tutoring, advising, or working with youth
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive energy that motivates students
  • Flexibility + reliability in a fast-paced school environment
  • Earned Bachelors Degree
