Job Summary
This internship offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in international development and sustainable urban development, housing rights, and urban planning. Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Experience drafting minutes, summaries, and/ or other actionable documents.
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
- Language: For this internship position, fluency in oral and written English and Spanish is required.
- Language: Knowledge of another UN language is desirable..
Skills
- Support the facilitation of the exchange of knowledge with UN members of the Local2030 Coalition, maintaining accessible information for mutual learning.
- Support the organization of meetings, events, and workshops, including scheduling, attending, and supporting the preparation of documents, including drafting invitation letters, agendas, programmes, thank you letters, etc.
- Support team engagement in relevant events, including supporting the drafting of talking points, briefing notes, and preparing slides.
- Support in the dissemination of policy recommendations, including drafting key messages from documents, briefs, and dialogues, and communications materials.
- Support the organization and management of knowledge products and outputs in online systems and to be published or shared online.
- Support the documentation of outcomes from meetings and events, including the preparation of meeting minutes, full reports, key messages, and follow-up actions after events, workshops and meetings.
- Support the maintenance of databases and mapping of relevant documents, events, and deadlines and support collaboration and sharing this information among colleagues.
