Job Summary

This Programme Management Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate critical programmes within Department of Safety and Security’s international cooperation and sustainable development portfolio. Based in United States, you will oversee programme implementation, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results that advance the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, and coordination with government partners, civil society, and other UN agencies. Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field.
  • Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • Academic Qualifications: Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is an advantage..

  • Experience in managing budgets, including monitoring budget execution of complex operations, is required.
  • Experience in developing and implementing solutions to complex programmatic challenges, using a project management approach and tools is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational coordination and support to United Nations entities, International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs), or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) is desirable.
