Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Completion of a recognized high school diploma is required. is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: A relevant diploma or certificate in combination with qualifying three (3) years of working experience in a related field, may be accepted in lieu of recognized first level degree.
  • Academic Qualifications: Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) yearsof experience working with the NOU at the national level, showcasing an understanding of the refrigeration and air conditioning sector Is desirable Demonstrate experience in the field of project management or a related field.
  • Academic Qualifications: Thisexperience should include a strong understanding of relevant areas and expertise in the subject matter Is required A minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in project implementation and reporting (e.g. preparing progress reports, organizing stakeholder consultations, workshops) at the national level Is required.
  • Fluency in oral and written English is required.
  • Language: Any knowledge of other UN language is desirable..

Skills

  • The Law Division works with international and non-governmental organizations, national and local governments,businesses and industry to develop and implement policies, strategies and practices that are cleaner and safer, incorporate environmental costs, use natural resources efficiently, reduce pollution and risks for humans and the environment, and enable the implementation of Conventions and International Agreements.
  • The project is being implemented with defined objectives, including national data collection to enable the Government to have comprehensive information to inform the development of an inventory of banks of used or unwanted controlled substances and a national plan to manage the banks.
  • The project contains a component for Project management and Reporting, which requires the recruitment of a National Consultant.
  • This should take into account the Multilateral Funds gender mainstreaming policy and be endorsed by the Government and UNEP as per the SSFA between the Government and UNEP.
  • The consultant will work under the direct and overall guidance and supervision of the OzonAction Montreal Protocol Regional Coordinator and in close collaboration with the NOU of Grenada..
