This consultancy provides an opportunity to contribute specialized expertise to Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific’s mission in international cooperation and sustainable development. Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in communication, journalism, multimedia, social science, arts or related fields.
  • Academic Qualifications: Experience in photography, videography, multimedia content production, or related areas is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Experience in audiovisual archiving or metadata management is desirable..
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Language: Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage..
  • Provide photography and videography services for ESCAP activities and intergovernmental meetings, as required.
  • Upload content to ESCAP online channels, as required.

Skills

  • Ingest new AV assets into the organizations photo and video database, according to CKMS AV collection and curation policies.
  • Assign and enhance AV assets with metadata in line with international standards and current workflows at the Organization.
  • Discard duplicate, low-quality or irrelevant AV assets, according to organizational retention and curation policies.
