Our partner organisation is looking for someone to lead and own their in-house creative studio – not just manage it. This is a hands-on leadership role: you set the bar, you clear the bottlenecks, and you make the work good. If you have an agency background and know what it takes to run a high-output studio without losing quality, this might be worth your time.

What you’ll own

• End-to-end creative output across all verticals – from brief to final delivery, the studio’s work is yours to stand behind.
• A team of designers and content writers. Hiring, developing, and managing them day-to-day falls on you.
• Brand consistency across everything that goes out – you know the guidelines, you enforce them, and you make independent calls when briefs are ambiguous.
• Studio capacity and workload planning – who’s doing what, when, and flagging problems before they become missed deadlines.
• The process itself: briefing, review cycles, feedback loops, quality checks. If the workflow is broken, fixing it is part of the job.
• Stakeholder accountability – timelines, dependencies, and expectations managed proactively, not reactively.

What we’re looking for

• Agency or design studio background – you understand creative production under pressure and you’ve managed people through it.
• Strong communicator. You can give a clear brief, take difficult feedback, and explain a creative decision to a non-creative stakeholder without losing the plot.
• Comfortable stepping in as an individual contributor when there’s a bottleneck – this isn’t a role where you hand off and wait.
• Sharp eye for quality, consistent across verticals.
• Organised and reliable. Deadlines aren’t suggestions for you, and your team knows it.
