Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring is seeking a Home Meal Delivery Program Manager to oversee daily meal production and delivery operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring meals are prepared safely, delivered efficiently, and aligned with program needs.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, steady under pressure, and comfortable managing both people and day to day operations in a fast paced, mission driven environment.
What Youll Do
- Oversee daily meal production and delivery coordination
- Ensure program operations comply with county nutrition guidelines and food safety requirements
- Monitor meal counts and align production with service needs
- Work closely with kitchen staff and volunteers to support daily operations
- Support compliance with food safety standards and program requirements
- Track program activity and support basic reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
What Were Looking For
Bachelors Degree and 4 years of relevant experienceOR8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in program operations, food service, or nonprofit environments
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort working in a hands on, fast paced setting
- Ability to work across teams and support daily service delivery
- Clear communication and problem solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 required
Position Details
Title: Home Meal Delivery Program Manager
Location: Onsite in Takoma Park/Silver Spring
Schedule: Full time, schedule may vary based on operational needs
Salary: $55,000 $62,000
