Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily operations across the organization. This role plays a key part in keeping systems running smoothly and ensuring staff have the coordination and support needed to deliver services effectively.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, mission driven environment.
What Youll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for the organization, greeting and directing visitors
- Support day to day operations across finance, administration, and organizational systems
- Process and track invoices, payments, deposits, and expense documentation
- Help coordinate payroll, benefits administration, and employee records
- Manage office operations including phones, email, scheduling, and supplies
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and staff activities
- Support leadership with scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow up on key priorities
- Work across teams to keep projects, communication, and operations moving forward
What Were Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through independently
- Comfort working with financial processes such as invoices, payments, or reconciliations
- Experience supporting administrative or operational systems
- Clear communication and ability to work across teams
- Experience with Microsoft 365 required
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems preferred
Position Details
Title: Operations Coordinator
Location: Onsite in Takoma Park/Silver Spring
Schedule: Full time, schedule may vary based on operational needs
Salary: $40,000 $46,000
