Qualifications

• Academic Qualifications: Bachlors degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences is required.
• Academic Qualifications: Six years of progressive responsible experience in a clincal laboratory The work at the clinic requires the use of an electronic medical record system (earthmed).
• Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
• Language: For this role, fluency in both oral and written English is required.
• Language: Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage..

Skills

• Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, stool exam and immunology, parasitology and COVID Test
• Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.
• Ensure to apply international standards in collecting specimens
• Ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping of results and materials.
• Maintain (preventive) laboratory equipment and supplies
• Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test functionality of medical laboratory equipment
• Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness and infection control
• Check all consumable reagents and sample collection materials and order timely
• Ensure following of SOPs, Job Aids and Policies of each test
• Perform all other duties as assigned
