Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in supply chain management, business administration, public administration, logistics, procurement or a related field is required.
- Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree..
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, logistics, supply chain planning, procurement, or related area is required.
- Experience: Experience in providing support service in the areas of supply chain management in support of a field operation (inclusive of peacekeeping operations, special political missions, agencies, funds and programmes), or other similar international organizations is required.
- Experience: SAP ECC (ERP Central Component), or SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) in the areas of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, procurement and logistics processes is desirable..
Skills
- Professionalism: Knowledge of the substantive field of work in the areas of supply chain management and logistics operations, in particular supply chain planning, procurement and logistics processes.
- Proven ability to consolidate and analyse data, use data analytics and visualization tools, make recommendations and prepare supply plans and reports.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply various United Nations rules, regulations, policies and guidelines in work situations.
- Ability to develop and apply supply chain management procedures and programs.
