Qualifications

• University degree (or pursuing advanced degree) in a business administration, environmental studies, project management, development studies or related field.
• Academic Qualifications: Knowledge/studies related to development and/or international and monitoring and evaluation is an asset.
• Academic Qualifications: Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
• Academic Qualifications: However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
• Academic Qualifications: Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Masters or Ph.D.
• Academic Qualifications: Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D.

Skills

• Track progress, monitor indicators of impact, and analyze CTCN data and activities using monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools and data collection systems, including the CTCN website, according to the established CTCN M&E framework
• Collaborate with CTCN teams in three service areas to identify gaps in the data tracking and collection and recommend potential improvements for the M&E and data collection system
• Support quality assurance and tracking/collection of M&E related deliverables for technical assistance (e.g. closure reports, stakeholder feedback, timeliness of technical assistance process), capacity building activities, and knowledge products
• Maintain a repository of programme documents, tools, and knowledge products for internal and external use
• Other ad hoc duties to be determined
