IPS Employment Specialist (Surrey)

Location: Bradmere House Working Hours: 22.5 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: 25,110 – 32,090 (pro-rata) ( Note : The starting salary for this position is 29,343.)

A stepping stone for future progression, this varied and fulfilling role will see you work alongside the East Surrey Eary Intervention Into Psychosis (EIIP) Team, the people we support, employers and other key stakeholders in the community with training from both Waythrough and the IPS platform.

Individual Placement & Support IPS Employment services support people to find paid employment as part of their recovery. Day to day you will be supporting clients with mental health support needs to find and sustain paid employment as a key element of their recovery – engaging with employers and building good working relationships with Mental Health teams along the way.

Youll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc.

Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments, progress and reviews are completed in a timely manner.

We are looking for:

Experience of working in a customer facing environment e.g. Customer Services, Social Care, Hospitality, Sales etc

Experience of working in a performance target driven environment

Willingness to travel locally and dedicated to working in the community.

The successful candidate needs to have their own vehicle and a full UK driving license.

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.
